Renowned University Refreshes Community Presence
Established in 1865 in eastern Pennsylvania, Lehigh University is rich in history with a strong community presence. They needed new signage in Farrington Square that engaged students & visitors. They also needed a logo for their Supplier Diversity Program that communicated the institution’s commitment to inclusivity. Both elements needed to maintain consistency with Lehigh’s visual identity, positioning, history, and values.

Marketing Materials: Signage
Farrington Square is a place where students and the community gather for live music, food, shopping, and the Bethlehem Farmers’ Market. We designed banners that leveraged the university’s color palette & typography to create a cohesive look while clearly communicating the different businesses with a fun & welcoming feel.
Logo Design: Supplier Diversity
Lehigh University’s Supplier Diversity program encourages participation of diverse, small, and local suppliers. They wanted an identity for the program that would demonstrate their commitment to being a welcoming and inclusive community of businesses. Inspired by campus architecture, we used color to communicate the diversity aspect of the program, while people icons gathered around the center represented unity. The wordmark maintained university fonts so that this logo could be easily integrated with other campus communications with a cohesive aesthetic.
“It was an awesome experience working with the team at BrandFirst to design the branding for our new Supplier Diversity Program at Lehigh University! They understood our high level concept, were responsive to follow up ideas, delivered the final product before our deadline, and exceeded all of our expectations. Definitely recommend them – great team!!!”
