To align refreshed imagery and assets with the brand, we started with strategy. VMG is all about quick, easy meals packed with veggies, so we focused on showcasing the product as nutritious, delicious, and perfect for the busy, health-conscious consumer who values convenience.
Photography & Retouching
We orchestrated multiple photo sessions to showcase each product’s texture, flavor, and visual appeal. The vibrant, inviting photography used soft, natural lighting to highlight the fresh ingredients, while retouching added consistent, natural shadows with a semi-transparent effect (knowing we wanted the wood texture from the packaging to shine through).
Elevating with Appetite Appeal
With clean, contemporary styling including plates, napkins, and countertop textures, we highlighted each dish’s beauty with subtle touches like fresh garnishes, fun arrangements, and real-life elements (looking at you, birthday candle!). The photography was designed to fit any setting, showcasing the brand’s joy and versatility, so consumers can easily picture it in their kitchens. Because a little #foodgoals inspiration never hurts!
Trade Show Booth Design
With new imagery in place, we refreshed the VMG trade show booth with a bold, engaging design. We showcased appetite appeal through the vibrant photography, paired with existing illustrated assets for a playful, approachable look. Natural tones in the color palette evoked health and freshness, while simple, inviting messaging communicated the brand’s essence. Textures, patterns, and colors were strategically layered to create a cohesive and impactful trade show presence.
Packaging Redesign Objectives
Last but certainly not least, we updated the packaging to evolve and elevate the VMG presence in a competitive market. The new design incorporated bold, appetizing product shots alongside a refreshed color palette and optimized communication hierarchy. The result? An approachable aesthetic that reinforced the healthy and premium nature of the product.
